Living raw
Posted on October 1st, 2007 | by Billifer | body acceptance, naturism, nudityHave you ever taken the time to just stop and spend a day—a full 24 hours—completely nude? Not so much as a pair of undies or a single sock or even a ring on your finger.
There’s something wildly exotic, and liberating, and wholly good about doing such a thing. I just did that, over the past day and a half, actually. But you shouldn’t take my word for it: Take some time and experience for yourself what an entire day of nudity can do for you. Everything changes.
An hour or two hours or even six hours isn’t long enough. You’ve got to go at least a full day to really feel the freedom of it. And freedom there is. Again: don’t take my word for it. Find out for yourself.
How many of us, even as children, have ever spent a full day completely nude? Not many, if any. While our circumstances and situations may be different and, obviously, going to work or the grocery store in the buff is a violation of social mores, find some time when you can do it. It’s one of the best gifts you can give yourself. Especially if you don’t think you’d enjoy it. The more uptight a person is about their body, the more time they need to spend with it.
That’s all for now. Carry on, preferably in your birthday suit. ⌘
